After resolving some hardware issues, i have re-installed md9.1 and
removed win. I am trying to update using easy urpmi at plf.zarb.org for
mirror setup. Kppp keeps cutting off after about 5 minutes at one mirror
and 30 min at another. Message is kppp daemon has timed out. I am
running direct modem connection. On 1st install at bootup the eth0
connection always indicated failed but i never got timed out messages
later when updating. On this install the bootup stops at eth0 and
probes for an address. Don't know if this has anything to do with it.
Would appreciate any help on what to do.
