Glad to hear you got it fixed, Kristjan. The procedure of removing the .kde directory is some kind of last resort, because - as you point out - it doesn't reveal the error. Kind'a buying a new car because the old one's ashtray is full. On the other hand, my suspicion of the fstab seems to be wrong, luckily.
