Just get the network.img file (make sure it's dated 10/29) from any of the Mandrake mirrors, then: dd if=network.img of=/dev/fd0 to write the image to floppy. Boot from the floppy and you *should* be good to go. I believe my problem is that the network.img is expecting my DHCP server to hand out a hostname or something, which it doesn't.
