Ya, I know, Galeon's been a beotch of late, very buggy, but I do love it so...
Anyhow, normally when it freezes and/or starts eating up my proc time, I just kill it like so (as root): kill -9 `pidof "galeon-bin"` and all is well. Not so this time. It just *will not* die. I thought "9" was the most deadly, is there something else more potent? I'd try dropping out of X, but I got this download goin' in GTK-Gnutella that I don't want to interrupt... ;-) -- JoeHill ++ ICQ # 280779813 Registered Linux user #282046 Homepage: www.orderinchaos.org +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "Athens built the Acropolis. Corinth was a commercial city, interested in purely materialistic things. Today we admire Athens, visit it, preserve the old temples, yet we hardly ever set foot in Corinth."-- Dr. Harold Urey, Nobel Laureate in chemistry
