I checked /etc/sysconfig/network

and the information is

Hostname uabc.com            (my machine)
networking =yes
gateway=192.168.147.10     (the one defined in Drakcontrol)
gatewaydev=eth1

I`m getting close, I know ..or..I hope.

Where is the 10.5.66.0 subnet that appears in your route?

the 10.5.66.0 subnet is my LAN, but one computer with IP 192.168.147.10 works as a gateway

What does ifconfig show?

And is there an eth0 ? If so is it enabled?

yes, I have an eth0 but I disabled it.
