Charlie,Did you have a look at drakboot? You can access that through mcc and set all kinds of things in the boot section.
Isn't that to remove the gui splash screen if so that is not what I'm trying to do.
I want to get back to the B/W full screen width boot script.
I want a good screen resolution vga=791 is what I always choose.
The graphical boot sequence is called Aurora (at least upto MDK 9.1), perhaps you can do something with that.
