I'm _waaaayyyy_ late to this thread so if you've already posted this information please excuse me. Are either or both CDROMs LG? If so do they have the latest firmware installed *before* you try to boot from a 9.2 install disk? If not they're probably dead but may be recoverable. Is the boot order in the BIOS set to boot from CD first or from hard drive first?
