I am having the same situation! I have disabled ACPI and now at the final moment i have to push the power button to turn off the computer. However i don�t have any complaint about this. It is quite normal to do this! With ACPI on, the Mandrake was able to physically turn off the machine. Apparantly Mandrake can not handle ACPI on my machine and it was freezing like hell. NOw very rarley it freeze. So just push that button at the end. It is so easy!
