Q1:  I've had experience with dosemu, but not the latest version.  I
followed your link and downloaded it because I am very interested in
this.  With this version, I hope they have included all the other
patches that have made dosemu useful for some time, but for some reason
have continued to make the users download and install themselves instead
of integrating them into the main tree.  This has been a source of
frustration.

Q2:  There is a version of dosemu on the Mandrake Club rpm download
area, and I believe it is regularly petitioned to be packaged into a
club rpm by the contributors.  However I don't know if this particular
version of Dosemu has been packaged as rpm.  There are alot of packages
on Mandrake Club that are not shown on rpmfind.net; this makes Mandrake
Club a value added service.

But anyway, I digress; if you do have a club membership, you can browse
the Club rpm base and check contribs for the dosemu version.  I would do
it myself, but Christmas has made me a little late for renewing my
membership.  :(
