[newbie] Cooking Problems

I�ve tried to install Cooker from ftp for the last couple of days, but
it seems like it has developed a nasty habit of crashing under the
installation !
After retrieving  the ram-disk I always get "killed in second stage
install".
I think i�ve tried every ftp-site out there but the problem remains. Is
there a bug in the latest ram-disk or what is goin� on here ??
