Well, your call. I prefer to reserve my own blacklist for those that go out of their way to oppose Linux/Unix rather than simply not make an effort to support it. There are more than enough manufacturers content to be hostile to Linux as it is.

There's a difference between not supporting Linux and spreading FUD.


Lexmark and proprietary driver/chips in printer cartridges anyone?

Good example. They sell the printers cheap to get customers hooked in to the cartridges. I'm about to buy an HP printer - fully Linux-compatible, and I can get my cartridges refilled at any stationers.
