You should have a hidden file in your home directory called ~/.vnc/xstartup This file controls how the vnc session will start Put the line /usr/X11R6/bin/starticewm & in there and vnc should start IceWM derek -- www.jennings.homelinux.net http://twiki.mdklinuxfaq.org
