Actually you may need to revise that last statement slightly Walt. "People will bitch about everything, even if it's FREE." Should likely read; "People will bitch at the drop of hint about _anything,_ *especially* if it's FREE." Or they will here in Edmonton anyway. I believe the ideas that I read about in that message should be taken as acknowledgement that there exists a true partnership between Mandrake Soft and the community, and that it should be extended and formalized. One way to look at the announcement is that for those that don't subscribe to the Club, don't order box sets, never support the distribution financially at all, *should be* beta testing. Nobody is begrudging a free download, and the price for free should be a willingness to help debug the new releases. But that's just my opinion.
