Sorry to hear your install still won't boot.....have you tried using another HD's mbr? Maybe your's is hosed. I had something like that......tested a bad western digital drive for an acquaintance and it hosed my WD drive's (with almost identical specs) mbr. AFAIK that isn't possible but I couldn't boot from that drive again so what am I supposed to think, heh?. Mine boots but I'm pissed off anyway. What moron thinks a linux distrib can go without Midnight Commander?:-P I know I can dload it from cooker (or get it from my 9.2 CD's) but not all my boxes have acceptable internet access nor do I carry 9.2 artound with me all the time.
