Hello, I have two hard drives of each 60 GB on Mandrake system [Linux host.domain.com 2.4.18-6mdk #1 Fri Mar 15 05:19:06 CET 2002 i686 unknown].
I am interested to clone them using application called Acronis trueImage to the same manufacturer's identical hard drives. This is what I would do: 1. Power down the system and take out the existing hard drives. 2. Make the copy of each disk to new one using said software. 3. Insert the new ones and to see if things seems normal. 4. Power down the system again and insert the old existing hard drives into system and power up and examine the structure. Anything, I should be careful other than using anti-static strap all the time?
