Well, again, I'm an /absolute/ beginner here. I can get around in the various Windows flavors fairly well, but I know diddly about Mandrake or Linux in general at this point. Anyone with near-infinite patience who can either point me to a good walk-through for doing a kernel upgrade, or help me step through it? I keep searching for info on various things but keep finding pieces of info and haven't yet sufficient knowledge to string them all together in usable form.
