Actually I'm referencing Belkin PCMCIA cards there. I don't have the ver 1 card here any more but I'm fairly sure the one I had had a prism chip on it. The only USB wireless device I have any experience with is the sitecom one I mentioned. Wouldn't surprise if there are different chipsets on same versions though.
