It's on you if your home directory is readable or not ... Remember that all files with '.' at the beginning (like .emacs, .gnus, ...) are configuration files. I don't know what kind of file manager are you using, but you can hide these configuration files and your directory will be much more readable for you. Try to send some file/directory name and we will tell you if you can remove this file/directory or not. -- Robert Vojta
