Apparently, not much. I just installed the RPM in question from orderinchaos. 1) why it installs in /usr/local is anyone's guess. I don't think Sylpheed & Sylpheed-Claws can coexist, and maybe that's why it's put there instead. 2) uses the existing stuff in .sylpheed, so no need to fiddle with such things as creating a new account and a place to store the mail, etc. 3) The fonts are *tiny*. But that's configurable. 4) Deleting a mail takes a *very* long time in claws compared to vanilla sylpheed. My mailbox has about ~6k messages. 5) claws thinks all my mail is "new". 6) wrapping lines does not work. Consequently, this post may look wierd to you. 7) a lot more noise on the controlling terminal than in vanilla sylpheed.
