My Plextor is "mis-detected" as not support +RW as well, however, when burning them, it works just fine, at least so far. And it does use growisofs which is the tool for +RW. > K3b Version: 0.11.6cvs > KDE Version: 3.2 BRANCH >= 20040204 > QT Version: 3.2.3 Same as my version although I have installed the patch from devel-stable. You might want to try that. Also, I don't use a home temp directory but instead specify that tmp files are created in /tmp. If you have a big enough /tmp partition/directory, you might consider using it directly. Not sure why it would make a difference but I recall getting weird errors every once in a while prior to my moving to /tmp and none even remotely recently. Just to make sure, I just burned a +RW disk, it is writing as I write this 43% done with no errors. -- Bryan Phinney Software Test Engineer
