how do you come to believe that hda3 is your windows partition??????
if you have an install that windows did, adn you have a windows 9x or ME it
will sure want to be on hda1, and most times, the hda2,hda3, hda4, are not
used as mountable partitions. hda5 is what windows sees as a 'd' drive, if it
is fat or ntfs.
