     I've been playin with it. Seems to work best with 128bit 
streams, and hardly very well at all with streams below that.
So, I recorded about 700mb's of mp3's from 4 different 128 bit 
stations.  BadPuppy, Twang City, Kpig/Kfat, and an Oldies 
station.

    However, almost half of them return 1 or more 'bad frames' 
when I run 'mp3_check *' on the dir they're in. Tho they still 
play properly.  Still the sound quality is poor compared to mp3's 
I can d/l _much_much_ more quickly from binary newsgroups.

    Also, I found it's not just Totem that drops streams. Xmms 
does it too.  I was wrong on that deal ;)  Maybe it's just the 
station droppin people if they're on too long ?
