Joe:
Curiously, Ive been getting a lot less spam lately. Up until last fall, it
wasn't much of an issue -- typically only about 5% of incoming mail was spam.
An annoyance, sure, but not that big a deal. Then, along about October, it
gradually increased until several weeks ago, when it peaked out at about 20%.
I gave some thought to setting up a spam filter, but all of a sudden the spam
level dropped. Over the past week, I'm back to a bit over 5%. About the only
explanation seems to be that good ole Earthlink has tightened up its filters.
OTOH, maybe I've been rooted, so now I'm one of the spammers and they're
giving me a free pass. Like Fats Waller said, "One never knows, do one?"
