For newbies it really is both easier and safer to do this sort of 
thing through Mandrake Control Center (Configure your computer) > 
Mount Points.  You can see just what you are setting there, and as 
long as you remember to exit gracefully you will be asked if you want 
the change written to fstab.  Say 'yes' and you're done.
