yes, these are fine

Last night whilst trying to connect to my isp's webpage I
ran /sbin/ifconfig to check
on dropped packages. Following is a sample of the RX/TX
packet lines that showed up:

RX Pockets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX pockets:1161 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0

So dropped packets don't seem to be the problem. However, i
noticed in your
/sbin/ifconfig you showed a Bcast address of
255.255.255.255, my Bcast address
is shown as 192.168.1.255. Is this a factor in this
problem???????

FWIW - I beleive that my smtp problem is connected to this
https one as they appeared at the same time.
