Hi again: I wanted to thank everyone on the list who offered some suggestions for my problem with the Mandrake Community 10 ISO's.
I feel like an idiot now. It never occurred to me to try another of the CD's to see it it would boot from that. I put the CD 2 in and it booted up just fine. I switched to CD 1 when instructed and the install started just fine. Unfortunately I had some problems with the install (it is beta after all) and it crashed my system (my fault). I just got it back up last night, and then went to bed. Anyway, I've got it up and running now, so I can get a look at all the new goodies. Thanks again for the help.
