Putting the line into fstab makes it automatic.  However, in the line 
above, I think 'users' should be 'user'.  Here is my line (this in 9.1, 
so there are slight differences)

/dev/hde1 /mnt/windows vfat user,iocharset=iso8859-15,codepage=850 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
