Well, your 'session' is saved, ie. the apps you had open should open again, but
we're talkin' writing files to the disk here, a bit different.

Now, there *are* ways to manage this, like Screen, which allows you to log out
and leave processes you had running to continue til you 'reattach' (even from
another location!), but I don't think you wanna mess with that yet.
