What made this even funnier was that there was only a 2 week period between the patch being released and when the exploit comming out..


That means that sysadmins had two weeks to ensure that the patch didn't break any functionality or compromise stability and roll it out onto all their machines, which often number in the thousands..

Considering MS's practise to release patches that break something.. they can hardly expect people to patch that quickly.
