I have it attached as PS/2, and configured as a Standard PS/2 scroll mouse. Works for me. It should work as well under Mdk 10 I think. I don't have the side button functionality at all, and I don't know if there is a way to get it to work under Linux. I haven't heard of anyone doing so, but maybe it's possible.
