Hi Paul, There is a utility called TestDisk that can analyze and repear disk partitions tables: http://www.cgsecurity.org/index.html?testdisk.html I used it recently on a drive with fat32 partitions, but it works with all major linux partition types too. I was very impressed with it's functionality, and it's free. I didn't find the documentation 100% clear, so just be very cautious before writing repairs to disk. There are both Linux version and Dos versions, but the Linux version worked better for me. Asa
