Hi,

Are you going through a proxy?

I'm not sure I know what that means. I checked the configuration for
Konqueror....under proxy I have "connect to the Internet directly"
checked. Michael

That means that you are not intentionally going a proxy server on your way to the Internet? If you are on an office LAN you may still be going through one. I can't seem get ftp in Konqueror to go through a proxy. That's just my experience.

I'm sure if I can help any further. May be someone else can chime in.
