modem: external 3com cable modem isp: charter nic: Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC
Problem: Mandrake recognises my ethernet card just fine; however, I can not connect to the interenet. I "told" it to use dhcp to configure all the network crud, but I still have no connection. I called my isp just to make sure that I'm supposed to use dhcp. Of course, they said yes. My apologies if I left out any information you need. Thanks in advance for the help.
