Hello, i am trying to create a FAT32 formatted partition with my remaining 50gb. When i do it only becomes 3.2gb.. Im not too sure if this is because of the FAT32 filesystem, because i know FAT16 can only have a max of like 2gb, but i also have a FAT32 partition sized 61gb, which i made on.. windows. How can i create a larger partition? It needs to be FAT32, and i need to do it on linux, as i am having trouble with windows made FAT32 and linux.

This is probably going to turn into something that should be on the expert list, but I'll ask a couple of questions anyway...
Does the BIOS see the full size of the drive?
How large is the drive?
Can you create a 50gb ext2 partition where you are trying to create the FAT32 partition?
What kind of problems are you having with Windows created partitions and Linux?
It is hard to tell from the information you have given, but what I suspect is happening is that Windows does not see the entire drive, and so you are only getting the space from the start of the partition to what Windows thinks is the end of the drive. If this is the case, you may have to move things around on the drive. Put all the Windows partitions in the first part of the drive, and give Linux the rest.
Depending on the boot loader and machine BIOS, you may have to give Linux a small chunk (16mb is plenty) in the lower part of the drive for the /boot directory. I am so used to creating a /boot partition that I have not kept up with the limits of the current boot loaders...
