I had my Epson C44plus plugged in and switched on while setting up
MDK10. It was recognised and configured without me having to lift a
finger. And yes, it is USB.

B.t.w: It prints fine too!

Note on 'cheap' printers: if you print a lot, perhaps you need to
consider that ink for cheap printers usually costs a bundle. You would
then be better off with a printer a bit more expensive. You save a lot
on ink that way and the printer pays itself back.
Over here a test was done, that someone who prints 'average'(whatever
that is), could spend upto $1300 on ink per year with a cheap printer.
