I just erased Mandrake 9.2 because I could never configure access to Internet, and installed 10.0 official trying to take advantage of its wireless support. The machine has a SMC2402W wireless PCI card which works fine under Windows.
To my disappointment, mandrake 10 does not recognize my card. When I try to configure it, I am left with the manual choice. Fine, I can try to make it work. According to my research, the right driver is the Prism54, but when I try to select it from the list in the Mandrake Control Centre, I am asked if I want to specify additional parameters. I do not have the slightest idea of what the parameters mean or what to enter, so, I say: "no". then I am taken to the beginning to choose a driver.
The end result is that I cannot install the driver, and cannot go further than that. Your help will be appreciated.

I use dwl520+ which uses the T1 chipset so I'm forced to use acx100 but it works I guess. There is the ndis wrapper I think on source forge, but I 'm sure someone will correct on this??
