Hello,
Try setting your speed and duplex settings static. i.e. 100Mbs full
duplex instead of Auto detection.
After I did this my 100Mb switch flies!!

sorry can really help you but I remember reading something about mtu's
on samba which I presume your using...if not it may be something to
investigate.
