Not sure about Bittorrent, never used it myself. When I d/l the ISOs from a
mirror, that mirror almost always has the command and checksum to match the
ISO against.
Going from the other posts in this thread, it sounds like you need to burn
that ISO to CD instead of just copying it.
For simplicity and safetly, I use, from a term/shell:
cdrecord -v -eject speed=10 dev=0,4,0 -dao
Substitute your device, and speed, and you should be set.
I followed advice from Tom B. on this - don't think I've burnt a bad ISO yet,
following this formula. :-)
PS Oh, Tom would probably advise you to drop the speed on down to 4 or so.
