Guy: what I am wanting is to be able of re-starting onto MS Windows from Mandrake WITHOUT making MS Windows the default (at the boot time) operating system and WITHOUT having to select manually MS Windows at the boot time.
I am a newbie also but I don't think you can do what you want. You will have to go through a reboot with some kind of boot manager to switch from linux to windows though I don't know why you would want to go to windows at all.
Thanks, Hoyt. I can end the session and then I can select (before rebooting) a reboot starting with MS Windows. Unfortunately, I do need to go to MS Windows, whenever I need to establish, from home, a VPN connection to my work's network. (I have already tried pptp client, under Linux, but with no luck.)
