I think AMD have targeted only MS buffer style.. eg blaster worm etc..
Linux has good protection built in plus with the ever changing way of
linux it would be hard on AMD to ensure that it is current. (no expert)
Buffer over runs are quickly fixed 9/10 and usualy people upgrade their
OS every release. If this is the case debian users would like a feature
like this since releaces are far and few between. The main reason AMD
did this is because a new install of XP within 5 minutes gets it...
