I recently bought a box from a small local supplier on behalf of a company I 
"consult" for, I needed it upgrading from the original spec. Their system 
builder was unavailable so they asked if I'd do it myself in their workshop, 
I asked if it would  affect the warranty ?  They asked if I had an MSCE and 
when I replied "No" they said  "that's alright then the warranty will not be 
affected" :-))
