Has anyone tried to install ML 10.1 Beta 2 yet? I'm trying to install it
and it keeps failing. Right after it formats the drive, and begins
installing the packages, it fails to install every package in my package
list. The error that I'm seeing is generic, meaning that it simply says
it was unable to install the package. When I try to continue to the next
package and all subsequent packages, it repeats the same error.
Now I'm stuck in Windows because my Linux "/" partition has been
formatted but contains no packages.
Thoughts? Ideas? If someone has had success with their install of 10.1
Beta 2 can you let me know where you downloaded the ISO's? I'm hoping
that mine are buggy, and this is not typical of all the iso's on the
mirrors.
I've also tried a text install, but of course, the errors were
identical. It's as if the hdlist files are pointing to the wrong rpm
locations on the CD set, or there's an error with the rpm installer.
