The 3COM page refers to the madwifi drivers, stating they do not offer
support:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/madwifi/

and Mandrake do a madwifi kernel rpm so just type urpmi
madwifi_kernel-2.???? (with your kernel entered, of course)
