I've used various iterations of Opera since 3.0 (through 3.6) on Windows.
Very nice, fast little browser IMHO. I've never stuck with it past the 30
days trial period, simply because in the Win world (to which I USED to belong)
IE 5.0 works very well and it's free. I saw no need to spring for the $17.50
(I get the educators discount). I've been exclusively Linux since April, `99.
Netscrape is usable, but not nearly as slick or functional as IE 5.x. I will
shel out the $ for Opera if it ports to Linux, and runs as well as it runs on
Windoze.
That's my $.02....
