Just try to wrap your head around that for one second. Will proprietary software ever be totally wiped out? Not in our lifetimes, I don't think. Is OSS gaining, and overtaking, proprietary closed source development? Yes. Is OSS winning out time after time when businesses are making decisions about expanding or replacing their infrastructure? Yes again.
