No. This is just the Linux version of Scandisk. It wants to run the
"scandisk" equivalent once every dozen or so reboots. The best way to
get around this is to just leave the system up and running. If you
don't need to turn it off, don't.
Let it run it's scanner and then all will be well with the world! :-)
