Use urpmi.addmedia --distrib cdrom removable:///mnt/cdrom with CD1 in the drive. BTW: Do you really want your hostname to be your MAC address? Or is it getting set to that by your ISP against your will? If so the in your /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 file (or whatever your interface is called) set the line NEEDHOSTNAME=no and set your hostname to be as you want it in /etc/sysconfig/network with HOSTNAME=myhostname.localdomain derek -- www.jennings.homelinux.net http://twiki.mdklinuxfaq.org
