Hi,

I'm using 10.1 CE. After having used KDE for a while I decided that I would give Gnome a try. All was going well until this morning when I launched gnome - I had no panels. I tried deleting all gnome config directories in my home directory, still no panels. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Brandon

I'll assume you're in the GUI login - I've experimented with it and Gnome almost always chokes after a few logins; although from runlevel 3 using Xtart it works like a charm.

Nope, I was starting from run level 3. I created a .xinitrc file in ~ to launch Gnome.
