Hi Javier, logging in to the system as root is 
potentially dangerous, and usually 
not nesessary or desireable.
Much safer to su to root in a console and do what 
you need to do with root access.

However, I think you can find the means to reveal 
the *hidden* user "root" at your X session login in 
MCC under "Login Manager" or somesuch.
