Took a look at that and it certainly looks partially the same. If you indeed booted into level 3 and had the same problem it would be surprising indeed if KDE was the culprit, though. Running "top" could've enlightened that. So what happened....? Boot into init 3 and check again.....that way you can file a bug report (if it is a bug) that won't get KDE related. To install-testrun the base package do "urpmi --test kde-base.123mdk.rpm" (or whatever the packages name is) and see if it gives dependancy-hell or not:) -- Good luck, HarM
